You will see the goodness of God in the land of the living.

If you’ve seen the goodness of God in your life you have a testimony.

The purpose of a testimony is to strengthen one’s faith according to the heart of God; not to dwell on what you were rescued out of but rather where God has brought you and where He is continuing to lead you.

I could discuss for hours the terrible details of the life I lived before I found the Lord, but what would be the point? I would much rather shout from the rooftops that I am a child of the one true King, and that His plans for me to give me hope and a future.

So that’s what I’ll do. Believe this; I tell you because I know it to be true:

I have faith for you and lower you down through the roof. His hands are outstretched to you as He waits for your response. Will you stand up and walk?

That is the purpose of a testimony, for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. When you witness of the Lord’s goodness in your life, you are saying, “Lord, do it again.”

Just because you may not have a crazy story doesn’t mean people cannot benefit from what the Lord has taught you and revealed to you.

You have a testimony, and the Lord has a purpose for it!

“I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!” — Psalm 27:13-14 ESV
